- Set-up
- ------
-
- AwebEd will auto-configure, and should run happily from anywhere on
- your system. Remember to keep AWebEd within it's directory. Some
- of the directories must NOT be renamed - these are listed in the
- accompanying "Readme!!" file.
-
- If you have AWeb, simply run AWeb as you normally would start it.
- AWebEd will be able to "talk" to it via it's Arexx port. AWebEd is
- configured by default to use only port "AWEB.1"; i.e., the port for
- the first AWeb browser window. It is possible to alter this so that
- AWebEd will talk to any AWeb window. This is achieved by use of
- AMAL .
-
- If you use another browser, things are slightly more tricky. If
- your browser has an Arexx port and supports some commands then you
- will be able to use AWebEd to control your browser. Check your
- browser documentation for details on it's Arexx support. It is then
- possible to alter AwebEd's behaviour with use of AMAL .
-
- You should now be ready to progress to " FORMATTING a document "
